GMT Light – Ultra-Light & Ergonomic for Elementary School

For the first school years, the GMT Light is, in my opinion, the perfect school backpack, as it weighs only 780 grams, making it not only a true lightweight but also one of the lightest school backpacks on the market! I was genuinely surprised at how little it weighs when I first held it. You will immediately notice the difference compared to other backpacks. Especially for the first school years, it is extremely important that the backpack does not have too much weight, as children are still growing quickly and should not carry too much weight on their backs.

The GMT Light offers 22 liters of volume, providing ample space for books, notebooks, snacks, and a water bottle. The 180-degree opening also makes it easy for first graders to find their way around and keep track of their belongings. There is a large main compartment divided into two sections, as well as a zippered pocket for small items. On the outside, there are two front pockets and two side pockets that are easily accessible, where, for example, the water bottle can find its place.

The GMT Light comes in beautiful, child-friendly colors and designs and is available in practical 4-piece and 6-piece sets with plenty of accessories such as a sports bag, rain cover, pencil case, and a small pouch. For my daughter, the reversible sequins and the Velcro patches were, of course, a highlight. As a mother, I particularly appreciate the durable bottom, as elementary school students do not always pay attention to where they place their backpacks. The reflective rain cover and the address field are also practical in case the backpack gets lost!

GMT Wall – More Space, Great Comfort, and Customizable

The GMT Wall is aimed at those who need a bit more space. Weighing 1,260 grams, it is heavier than the Light but offers 23 liters of volume for plenty of storage. My daughter is thrilled with her GMT Wall “Underwater Magic.” The 6-piece set includes everything needed for school life: a reflective rain cover, a sports bag, seven interchangeable Velcro patches, a fully packed pencil case, and a small pouch for scissors, glue, and more.
